Borre Akkersdijk is a Dutch designer and innovator based in Amsterdam known for his pioneering work in the textile industry as founder and creative director of BYBORRE.

Borre has researched ways how materials, systems and storytelling interact with one another to create more meaningful ways of making. 

In 2025, he co-founded Patience, a collective built on the belief that meaningful work takes time. With Patience, Borre extends his practice beyond textiles into a multidisciplinary space where texture, taste, sound, and scent intersect.

Beyond his own practice, Borre helps shape the future of design as an advisor to several Dutch ministries and as head of the jury at the Dutch Design Awards, while collaborating with international brands including Tony’s Chocolonely, Gaggenau, Nike, BMW, and Gore-Tex.

Oficina is an Amsterdam-based canteen, food design studio, and shop co-founded by Zana Josipovic and Naiara Sabandar.

Oficina

They produce dining situations for events, create visual identities for brands, and develop goods that are sold in their curated shop.

Oficina collaborates with international brands in the fields of art, design, and fashion such as Hermès, Loewe, and Valentino.

Their work centres on a belief in the power of branding and visual storytelling through food and design.
